Where does the time go

When in Texas,you may find yourself jumping in the nearest cow water trough...it's about the only damn thing that has water left in it....that is if they haven't sold the herd yet.

calling all fire trucks for relief....in the mean time.....think I'll go throw some steak on the hood of the truck......it's been damn crazy for month now.....and I'm not seeing any end in sight.

Dang,I may end up with a haircut or major cut to my wallet that is, if I don't stay away from the bike shop.Couldn't help it today,seeing as I had time off and the inspection sticker would be out at the end of the month.Last month Ted's bike was there for the same thing and the sales guy saw my lustful eye.Today he was wanting to make me a sweet deal on a bigger bike,and really begging me to test drive a '07 Shadow Spirit with less than a thousand miles.Yes,I'd love a bigger tank and a fifth gear.I really think this sales guy is wanting my bike for his wife,from our previous conversation last month.No,I didn't ride the '07 even though all the numbers look great in conversation.The dealer is only asking $6K,with 10% down to finance.We have been trying really hard not to take on any new debt,and payoff all our debt except our mortgage which we do have equity and is not upside down in this crazy market.I'm really sitting on my hands fighting the temptation of test driving this bike.The red bike is all decked out with highway bars,sissy bars,luggage rack,windshield.I guess if this bike was silver,it most likely would be parked in my drive seeing as the sales guy said we could give me what I was asking...and that was more than what I had paid out four years ago...which I bought it at payoff not book price so yes,I did steal the bike four years ago.

just has seemed to demand soo much focus these days.Time has been hauling ass by,and all the demands have left me soo little time to reflect on the mountains climbed little lone a brief victory dance.This world twirls at a faster rate than my rocket propelled ass hauls.Yes,I'm clearly looking for one exit sign and maybe a bigger bike (Dyna Super Glide) and my ass maybe hauling down the road to Key West never to return to this hot dry land again.

For my happy dancing turtle.I didn't even have my eyes open this morning on my day off when hubby comes bouncing into the bedroom telling me I had a high priority message on my phone.It had been on while on my charger all night.Bleary eyed,fearing the worst I open the message for a good morning laugh.Yes, happy turtle got sent on to keep dancing his merry heart out.

A springtime bulb in my garden


Hope all here has been well.I've not had any time to check in and read any posts.I've had lots of company from out of town,then several trips out of town myself.Then came the storms,which one friend lost everything due to lightening hitting their home and the fire that followed.They will rebuild,and were blessed that all the family was able to get out of the home during the violent storm.One more miracle happened today, a total stranger seemed to be calling me to come closer from afar.I always KNOW,that there are no chance encounters,so I went over and struck up some small talk.It wasn't even ten minutes later it became VERY clear we were destined to meet.Our common bond was a dear mutual friend who past away in April last year.We both just smiled knowing that our dear Miss Pam,had given us the gift of each other and we shared a few short stories and cried with laughter in our voices.Still gives me goose bumps just sharing this reflection of today.

It was just a little too real last night.Sad part was,all my lj family was visiting me in what I think was me in a coma ???? Yeah,WTF .....I couldn't say a word,but could see and hear everyone in the room.I was mad because everyone was leaving and I couldn't say a word.Nobody even had a clue I knew they were there.I woke up with a heavy heart,feeling like I had missed one heck of a party.Maybe it serves as a reminder to myself that each of you here,have a place in my heart.

...this bike I'd love to ride if the beast didn't weigh right at 1100 lbs.I think it's all in the BIG butt rear....which maybe is the reason I like it so much:-)

This week,more commercial construction....98 percent complete.One new exterior residential bid accepted today,to start next Monday.Friday, one new interior residential bid to go see,and bid.

Guess,I need to swing out by the bike shop tomorrow and grab my gear seeing as it looks like my love affair with the chrome will be on vacation due to the construction contracts.I'd be in deep withdrawl if not for the two ponies here in the garage.
